Description: This Content Type will create a Google Sitemap for the specified channel.
How to use
This content type allows the user to create a Google Sitemap for the specified channel(s).
- add content to Home » Google Sitemap with the following settings:
- set the section to archive
- output the file name element as sitemap-en.xml
- the page layout is set to the Blank page layout
- add the channel ID
- add the base HREF (the domain of the website)
- include file extensions (these are file extensions outside the default index pages of your website, only add them if you want to include media types such as images or videos to your sitemap, e.g. jpg, png, mp4, etc.)
- add any exclusions for pages or areas of the site you wish not to be included in the sitemap (multiple values, comma separated)
